Cullen Jenkins sacked Dalton and knocked the ball away

An unnecessary roughness penalty on Adam "Pacman" Jones a few plays later gave the Eagles a first down at the 3, but Folesthrew three straight incomplete passes. Henery kicked a 22-yard field goal to tie it at 10.

After the two-minute warning, Cullen Jenkins sacked Dalton and knocked the ball away. Darryl Tapp recovered and ran 4 yards to the Bengals 12. But the drive stalled at the 1 and Henery kicked a 20-yarder for the lead.

Foles made his fifth straight start for Michael Vick, who just returned to practice this week after sustaining a concussion on Nov. 11.

Samuel is looking forward to playing against Eagles quarterback Michael Vick

Samuel was steaming mad about the comment. But, he seems to have cooled down a bit with kickoff approaching.

"No decline in 22, right?" said Samuel, when told of Reid'scomments. "He just wanted to clear that up?"

Samuel is looking forward to playing against Eagles quarterback Michael Vick.

"He's a great talent," Vick said. "Seeing him on the other side of the ball is going to be different."

In a little tweetfest, Samuel claimed that he didn't take any shots at Reid, who fired defensive coordinator Juan Castillo on Oct. 16.

Brown said it's important to make Bryant sit out when it's necessary

Brown said it's important to make Bryant sit out when it's necessary.

"I remember in training camp last year he turned his ankle really bad and I told him to go sit down," Brownrecalled. "He tied his shoe, and when I wasn't paying attention, he was back on the court playing. He's just weird like that."

This time, Bryant sat in the locker room and underwent further treatment.

He also held an extended and very lighthearted session with reporters.

Jennings came down with the ball

Jennings came down with the ball. By rule, by sight and by every other metric, he should have been given an interception. But one official, with his sight obscured by a huge scrum of humanity, raised his arms for a touchdown formation and the NFL now has the controversy of the decade on its hands.

"They should give Green Bay the game is what they should do," Grudensaid. "There's no way Green Bay should fly 6,000 miles home after losing a game like this. That's what instant replay is for. I don't like the way this game ended. I have a bad taste in my mouth."

Williams finished with nine aces

Her win over the 10th-seeded Erraniof Italy turned out exactly the way it looked beforehand on paper.

Errani spun in serves at an average of 83 mph, while Williams was consistently in the 110s.

Errani hustled from side to side, retrieving balls and trying to get into long points, while Williams stayed patient — but only as patient as she had to be — setting herself up for 38 winners against only 21 unforced errors.

Williams finished with nine aces and heads into the final with 50 for the tournament. Errani's total: Zero.

"My objective was to prolong the match as much as possible," said Errani, who did, in fact, stay out there for 1 hour, 4 minutes.

The commercial, which features Hertzfeld and other members of the original Mac team

The commercial, which features Hertzfeld and other members of the original Mac team discussing their baby, never appeared on TV "because Apple deemed it too self-congratulatory, although it was used in some promotional materials sent to dealers," Hertzfeldwrote.

"So we set out to capture the greatness of Lisa in something affordable to individuals rather than corporations," he says in the unaired ad, in which he's identified as a Macintosh "software wizard." Hertzfeld was referring to Apple's business-targeted, graphical interface-sporting Lisa computer released in January 1983.

Also appearing in the ad are Mac team members Andy Hertzfeld, George Crow, Bill Atkinson, Mike Murray, and Burrell Smith—though the most famous architect of the Mac, Steve Jobs, does not appear.

The pain might have been mitigated a bit by the early lead

He turned it around Sunday, pitching seven innings, giving up four hits and three walks, and striking out eight. In the process, he lowered his earned run average to 2.83. It was not quite the wondrous ease he showed a month and a half ago, but it was a highly effective performance nonetheless, and made him the National League's first 14-game winner.

"I felt like I had a good knuckleball pretty much the whole night," said Dickey, who battled nausea and stomach pains all game.

The pain might have been mitigated a bit by the early lead his teammates had given him. In the first inning, David Wright blasted a double off the base of the wall in right-center field, bringing in Daniel Murphy from first base.

Evans and Teletovic agreed to terms Tuesday

The Nets also intend to re-sign Brook Lopez and Kris Humphries, their last two significant free agents, and the last two players remaining from the 2010-11 season.

Every deal has been made with Williams in mind, and Nets officials sought his input throughout the process.

Evans and Teletovic agreed to terms Tuesday, according to people involved in the deals.

Teletovic, 26, will sign a three-year, $15 million contract under the midlevel exception. Evans, 32, will come in a sign-and-trade deal worth about $5 million over three years. In exchange, the Nets will send the Clippers a second-round pick in either 2017 or 2018, plus a trade exception worth $3 million.

Willingham took a fastball from Jason Grilli

Willingham took a fastball from Jason Grilli (1-2) over the wall in left field for his 14th homer of the season to break a tie as the Twins won for just the second time in their last seven games. Glen Perkins pitched the ninth for his first save in place of injured closer Matt Capps.

Jared Burton (1-0) picked up the win in relief of starter Francisco Liriano, who pitched arguably his best game of the season, giving up one run and four hits in 6 2-3 innings. The left-hander struck out six and walked two.

Pittsburgh's Erik Bedard overcame a shaky start to surrender one run over six innings but was long gone by the time Willingham notched the first homer given up by Grilli since April 17.

Legal experts say the federal government probably

Legal experts say the federal government probably has the power to push the Enbridge Northern Gateway pipeline and the Kinder Morgan pipeline expansion to completion despite opposition in B.C. which grew Tuesday to include B.C. hockey hero Scott Niedermayer.

Niedermayer said Tuesday the Northern Gateway pipeline and its associated tankers are too great a risk to run through B.C.'s so-called "Great Bear region."

"It's tremendously important to me to be a Canadian for the Great Bear. The amazing places we have in our country are part of what it means to be Canadian," said Niedermayer, who grew up in Cranbrook, B.C.

Ryan McDonagh said of the Capitals

Coach John Tortorella pronounced that history "irrelevant," as did several players. Some Rangers said they found the Capitals under Coach Dale Hunter to be very similar to the Senators. While the Senators and the Capitals barely made the playoffs with 92 points, both are gritty opponents who pose problems.

"They've got a lot of top-end skill guys up front, similar to Ottawa," Ryan McDonagh said of the Capitals, who eliminated the defending champion Bruins in overtime in Game 7, with the rookie goalie Braden Holtby leading the way. "They have some mobile defensemen as well, like the Senators. And their goaltender is playing pretty well, like Anderson did for Ottawa."

Brad Richards said he thought the Capitals resembled not only the Senators, but also the Rangers.

Matt Read made it 5-3 with the first of his two goals

Giroux checked in with a paltry goal and assist contrasted to his six-point effort in Game 2.

The Flyers cannot claim purity in their overall demeanor, either. There was a dirty knee-on-knee hit by defenseman Nicklas Grossmann on Neal in the second period, which Neal immediately converted for a power-play goal at 10:31 to make it a 4-3.

Matt Read made it 5-3 with the first of his two goals. Jordan Staal responded with a tap-in after a hideous play of the puck by Bryzgalov, who on many other Flyer teams might have been booed to the bench by then.

But the killer goal came with 46 seconds left in the second, when Flyers winger Wayne Simmonds took a nifty pass from Braydon Coburn, deked Fleury to the forehand and backhanded a puck to the short side. That made it 6-4.

Wonder burying his head in the crook of his arm

McIlroy, meanwhile, was on his way to the greatest collapse by a 54-hole leader at the Masters in more than a half-century. The tee shot behind a cabin left of the 10th fairway. A three-putt from 7 feet on the 11th, and a four-putt from 12 feet on the 12th. The lasting image was Boy Wonder burying his head in the crook of his arm after a wayward tee shot on the 13th. He shot 80 that day.
The devastation gave way to a coronation two months later, however, when the 22-year-old from Northern Ireland shattered the U.S. Open scoring record and won by eight shots at Congressional.

The approach is why Ronnie Brewer can finish with 12 points

The approach is why Ronnie Brewer can finish with 12 points and seven rebounds on a night Richard Hamilton exits just 83 seconds after tipoff with a right shoulder injury. The Bulls' focus and mental toughness is why they can snap the Pacers' six-game win streak even though Indiana rested here on Sunday night while the Bulls battled in Philadelphia.
It's even why Rose and Luol Deng can rebound from poor first halfs — Rose shot 1-for-9; Deng 1-for-7 — for a third-quarter 3-point barrage that turned the game in a 20-4 run.
"In the third quarter, we had great energy and will," Thibodeau said.
Deng scored a team-high 20 points. Rose added 13 points and nine assists despite resting in the fourth quarter.

The Warriors led 29-23 after the first quarter

Paul was 0-for-4 in the fourth and the Clippers shot 39.1 percent as a team in the quarter. They shot 42.9 percent for the game. The Warriors shot 45.8 percent in the game, including 52.9 percent in the fourth quarter.
The Warriors led 29-23 after the first quarter and the game was tied 56-56 at halftime. Golden State took a 77-74 lead into the fourth. Williams scored the Clippers' final points on a jumper with 3:15 remaining that made it 97-95.
"We have to put teams away...play with a sense of urgency," Griffin said. "We can't coast the whole game and expect to win at the end."
